Dayvee hosted an emotional panel with the mothers of boys and men who lost their life unarmed to police. She also held a private screening of her film to the group.

*The screening followed the moving protest at the Democratic townhall with the #blacklivesmatter folks and Gov Martin O'Malley and Sen Bernie Sanders.

White Boy Privilege, Slam Poem - Royce Mann, Age 14 


Dayvee interview Royce when he was just 11 years-old in her documentary "What we told our sons." She says "the kid was so 'woke' back then, it's no surprised that he could artistically make his plea for empathy is such a powerful way." Check out the video below. It's all in line with Dayvee's vision for this project - to continue the conversation about systemic racism in the USA.
