Dayvee debuted the film for the first time in Charlotte in an interactive panel and town hall discussion hosted by the Levine Museum of the New South, as a part of their K(no)w Justice K(no)w Peace exhibit.

Dayvee hosted an emotional panel with the mothers of boys and men who lost their life unarmed to police. She also held a private screening of her film to the group.

White Boy Privilege, Slam Poem - Royce Mann, Age 14 

Dayvee interview Royce when he was just 11 years-old in her documentary "What we told our sons." She says "the kid was so 'woke' back then, it's no surprised that he could artistically make his plea for empathy is such a powerful way." Check out the video below. It's all in line with Dayvee's vision for this project - to continue the conversation about systemic racism in the USA.
